Fantasy MMORPG PvE Raids Guilds

Both Blade & Soul and Neo Classic (likely referring to Perfect World: Neo Classic) are MMORPGs with distinct styles, gameplay, and communities. Heres a comparison to help you decide which might suit you better: Setting & Art Style Blade & Soul: - Eastern fantasy (Wuxia/Kung Fu-inspired) with a vibrant, anime-esque art style. - Focuses on martial arts combat, acrobatics, and a revenge-driven storyline. - Character designs are highly customizable, with flashy outfits and effects. Perfect World: Neo Classic: - Chinese mythology-inspired world with a mix of fantasy and traditional aesthetics. - More "classic" MMORPG visuals (less anime, more traditional 3D). - Features flying mounts and open-world exploration. Combat System Blade & Soul: - Action combat with combo-based, skill-shot mechanics (similar to fighting games). - Emphasizes timing, dodging, and counters. - Tab-targeting is optional but not the focus. Perfect World: Neo Classic: - Tab-targeting combat (traditional MMORPG style). - Slower-paced, with more emphasis on strategy and positioning. - Some classes have unique mechanics (e.g., flying combat for certain races). PvP & PvE Content Blade & Soul: - PvP-heavy with arena duels, battlegrounds, and open-world faction wars. - PvE includes dungeons, raids, and dynamic boss fights. - High skill ceiling for competitive play. Perfect World: Neo Classic: - More PvE-focused with dungeons, world bosses, and exploration. - PvP exists (territory wars, guild battles) but isnt as refined as B&S. - Classic MMORPG progression (grind-heavy at times). Progression & Monetization Blade & Soul: - Gear treadmill (upgrading weapons/accessories is essential). - Free-to-play but pay-for-convenience (costumes, boosts). - Can be grindy for late-game upgrades. Perfect World: Neo Classic: - Classic leveling system (slower progression, more RPG-like). - Monetization leans toward pay-to-win (stronger gear via cash shop). - Nostalgic for fans of older MMORPGs. Community & Population Blade & Soul: - Smaller but dedicated player base (mostly in endgame). - More competitive; harder for new players to catch up. Perfect World: Neo Classic: - Targets nostalgic players of the original Perfect World. - May have a larger casual player base. Which One Should You Play? Play Blade & Soul if: - You love fast-paced, action combat (like Black Desert). - You enjoy PvP and high-skill gameplay. - You prefer anime-style visuals and martial arts themes. Play Perfect World: Neo Classic if: - You prefer traditional tab-targeting combat. - You enjoy open-world exploration and flying mechanics. - You want a nostalgic, classic MMORPG experience. Final Verdict Blade & Soul is better for action combat enthusiasts and PvP lovers. Perfect World: Neo Classic is better for old-school MMORPG fans who enjoy slower, grind-heavy progression. Great raids, some bugs

The new raid content is fantastic with challenging mechanics. However, there are still some bugs that need to be ironed out. Overall a solid expansion that keeps me coming back for more.
