best solo class guild wars 2
In Guild Wars 2, the "best" solo class depends on your playstylewhether you prioritize survivability, damage, or versatility. Here are the top solo-friendly classes (professions) and their strengths: Necromancer (Reaper/Scourge) Best Overall for Solo Play - Why? High survivability with shroud mechanics, strong AoE, and self-healing. - Best Elite Specs: - Reaper (HoT) Melee powerhouse with high sustain and cleave damage. - Scourge (PoF) Barrier support, condition damage, and great for open-world. - Pros: Easy to play, hard to kill, great for beginners. Ranger (Soulbeast/Druid) Versatile & Pet Tanking - Why? Pets tank enemies, and Soulbeast merges for burst damage. - Best Elite Specs: - Soulbeast (PoF) High burst (power or condi) with merged pet bonuses. - Druid (HoT) Healing/support, but less damage. - Pros: Pet distracts enemies, good mobility, flexible builds. Guardian (Firebrand/Willbender) Balanced & High Sustain - Why? Strong defensive abilities (blocks, aegis, healing). - Best Elite Specs: - Firebrand (PoF) Condi DPS or support with quickness. - Willbender (EoD) Mobile, high burst damage. - Pros: Good survivability, strong in solo and group play. Engineer (Mechanist/Scrapper) Easy & High Utility - Why? Mech (Mechanist) tanks for you, Scrapper has barrier and sustain. - Best Elite Specs: - Mechanist (EoD) AI mech does most of the work (great for beginners). - Scrapper (HoT) Tanky, quickness, and stealth options. - Pros: Low effort, high reward, great for open-world. Revenant (Herald/Renegade) Sustain & Boons - Why? High self-sustain, boons (might, protection), and solid damage. - Best Elite Specs: - Herald (HoT) Boon support, tanky. - Renegade (PoF) Condi DPS with summons. - Pros: Good survivability, flexible playstyle. Honorable Mentions: Mesmer (Virtuoso/Mirage) Strong but squishy; Virtuoso is great for ranged burst. Thief (Daredevil/Deadeye) High mobility, but requires dodging/kiting. Warrior (Berserker/Spellbreaker) Tough but lacks self-sustain compared to Necro/Guardian. Best for Beginners: Necromancer (Reaper/Scourge) Easiest to survive. Ranger (Soulbeast) Pet makes soloing forgiving. Engineer (Mechanist) Mech does the heavy lifting. Best for Veterans: Guardian (Willbender) High skill ceiling, rewarding burst. Revenant (Herald/Renegade) Boon management for optimized play. Final Verdict: Best Overall Solo Class: Necromancer (Reaper) Nearly unkillable in open-world. Best for Easy Mode: Mechanist (Engineer) Let the mech tank everything. Best Hybrid (DPS + Sustain): Guardian (Firebrand/Willbender). Would you like specific build recommendations for any of these?

The War Within brings so much fresh content to WoW. The new zones are absolutely stunning and the storyline is engaging. Been playing for 15 years and this expansion reignited my passion for the game.
The new raid content is fantastic with challenging mechanics. However, there are still some bugs that need to be ironed out. Overall a solid expansion that keeps me coming back for more.
