Fantasy MMORPG PvE Raids Guilds

Of course! Here is a comprehensive list of the best free-to-play games on PC, categorized by genre. These are all genuinely free, high-quality games where you can enjoy hundreds of hours without spending a dime. The Absolute Top Tier (Must-Try) These are massive, polished games with huge player bases. MMO/RPG: Genshin Impact / Honkai: Star Rail: Stunning anime-style open-world action RPG and turn-based RPG respectively. Gacha mechanics, but the core exploration and story are completely free and vast. Warframe: A fast-paced "space ninja" looter-shooter with incredible movement, deep crafting, and a massive amount of content. The grind is the game. Path of Exile: The deepest action RPG (Diablo-like) on the market. An incredibly complex skill system, endless build diversity, and regular massive updates. Considered the gold standard for ARPGs. Final Fantasy XIV Online: Has an expanded Free Trial that includes the base game and the first two award-winning expansions (Heavensward & Stormblood) with no playtime limit. An incredible story and MMORPG experience. Hero Shooters & Tactical: VALORANT: Riot's precise, tactical 5v5 character-based shooter. Focus on gunplay, abilities, and strategy. Counter-Strike 2: The definitive tactical shooter. Free-to-play with a legacy of competitive excellence. The skill ceiling is incredibly high. Overwatch 2: A vibrant, team-based hero shooter with a diverse cast of characters. Matches are fast-paced and objective-based. Battle Royale: Fortnite: Beyond its iconic battle royale, it's now a platform with creative modes, LEGO survival, Rocket Racing, and music experiences. Constantly evolving. Apex Legends: A fluid, movement-focused battle royale with unique "Legends" (characters) who have special abilities. Excellent team-play emphasis. By Genre MOBA (Multiplayer Online Battle Arena): League of Legends: The most popular MOBA in the world. Deep strategy, a huge roster of champions, and a steep but rewarding learning curve. Dota 2: The most complex and hardcore MOBA. All heroes are free from the start, and its strategic depth is unmatched. Known for its high-stakes esports scene. Shooters: Destiny 2: Its free "New Light" experience offers the core shooter gameplay, several introductory campaigns, and access to some endgame activities like the Vanguard Ops playlist and Crucible (PvP). Team Fortress 2: The classic that defined the class-based shooter. Still incredibly fun, unique, and full of personality after all these years. Halo Infinite: Its multiplayer is completely free-to-play and offers the classic, polished Halo arena shooter experience. Strategy & Card Games: Magic: The Gathering Arena / Legends of Runeterra: The best digital collectible card games. MTG Arena is the official digital version of Magic. Legends of Runeterra is praised for its generous economy and innovative mechanics. Dota Underlords / Teamfight Tactics: Excellent auto-battler/auto-chess games. Strategic team composition is key. Creative & Sandbox: Roblox / Core: Not just games, but platforms to play millions of user-created games or even make your own. PlanetSide 2: A massive-scale MMOFPS with hundreds of players fighting over continents in a persistent war. Unmatched scale. Co-op & PvE: Warframe (mentioned above) is the king here. Dauntless: A free-to-play "Monster Hunter-lite." Hunt behemoths, craft gear, and play with friends in a streamlined, accessible package. Hidden Gems & Unique Experiences Marvel Rivals: A new team-based hero shooter (like Overwatch) set in the Marvel universe. Promising and fun. The Finals: A wildly destructive, fast-paced team-based shooter set in a virtual game show. Environment destruction is a key tactic. Fighting Games: Many have free "lite" versions or are very affordable. Keep an eye on Brawlhalla (platform fighter like Smash Bros.) and MultiVersus (when it re-launches). Classic MMOs: Star Wars: The Old Republic for story, Lord of the Rings Online and Guild Wars 2 (base game is free) for world exploration. Important Tips for Free Games: Microtransactions: Most free games are supported by cosmetic purchases (skins, visual effects). Some sell convenience or progression boosts. Pay-to-win is rare in the top-tier competitive games. Battle Passes: A common model offering a track of rewards for playing during a season. Community: Free games can have toxic players. Use mute functions and find friends or communities to play with. Try Everything! The best part of free gaming is there's no risk. If you don't like a game, just uninstall it. Where to Find Them: All these games are available on Steam, the Epic Games Store (which also gives away free paid games weekly), or their own launchers (like Riot Games for VALORANT/League). A great starting point: If you like RPGs, try Genshin Impact or Path of Exile. If you like competitive shooters, try VALORANT or Apex Legends. If you like deep strategy, try Dota 2* or a card game. Have fun exploring

Great raids, some bugs

The new raid content is fantastic with challenging mechanics. However, there are still some bugs that need to be ironed out. Overall a solid expansion that keeps me coming back for more.
