Fantasy MMORPG PvE Raids Guilds

8-bit RPGs were foundational in shaping the genre, offering deep storytelling, strategic combat, and memorable worlds despite technical limitations. Here are some of the best 8-bit RPGs from the NES, MSX, and other platforms: Top 8-Bit RPGs: Dragon Quest III (NES) A masterpiece that refined JRPG mechanics, featuring a class system, epic story, and a massive world. The definitive 8-bit RPG. Final Fantasy III (NES) Introduced the iconic job system, four-player parties, and a grand adventure with airships and crystals. Mother / EarthBound Beginnings (NES) A quirky, emotional RPG with modern settings, psychic powers, and a unique tone. Ultima IV: Quest of the Avatar (NES/MSX) A groundbreaking open-world RPG focused on morality and virtue rather than just leveling up. The Legend of Zelda (NES) More action-RPG, but its nonlinear exploration and secrets set the standard for adventure games. Megami Tensei (NES) The origins of the Shin Megami Tensei series, featuring demon summoning and dark themes. Sweet Home (NES) A survival-horror RPG hybrid with permadeath and puzzles; inspired Resident Evil. Ys I & II (PC-88/MSX/NES) Fast-paced action-RPGs with a bump combat system and an epic soundtrack. Honorable Mentions: Crystalis (NES) A Zelda-like action-RPG with magic and post-apocalyptic themes. Faxanadu (NES) A side-scrolling action-RPG with a dark fantasy world. Destiny of an Emperor (NES) A strategy-RPG based on Romance of the Three Kingdoms. Lagrange Point (NES) A sci-fi RPG with advanced sound and graphics for the NES. These games laid the groundwork for modern RPGs and remain classics. If you're looking for deep storytelling, strategic combat, or nostalgic charm, these are the best of the 8-bit era. Would you like recommendations for a specific subgenre (dungeon crawlers, action-RPGs, etc.)?

Great raids, some bugs

The new raid content is fantastic with challenging mechanics. However, there are still some bugs that need to be ironed out. Overall a solid expansion that keeps me coming back for more.
