artificial intelligence software free
There is a vast amount of high-quality artificial intelligence software available for free. The term "free" usually falls into two categories: Open Source (free to download, modify, and often self-host) and Freemium (free to use with limitations or a free tier). Here is a curated list of the best free AI software, categorized by function. Generative AI & Chatbots (Free Tiers) These are the most popular for general use. ChatGPT (by OpenAI): The most famous AI chatbot. The free tier is powered by GPT-3.5 and GPT-4o mini. It is excellent for brainstorming, writing, coding help, and answering questions. Google Gemini: Google's answer to ChatGPT. It is free and integrates well with Google services (Gmail, Docs, Drive). It is very good for research because it can fact-check itself. Microsoft Copilot: Built into Windows 11, Edge browser, and Bing. It is free and uses GPT-4. It can analyze web pages, generate images (via DALL-E 3), and write code. Claude (by Anthropic): Known for being "safer" and excellent at long-form writing and analysis. It has a free tier with a limited number of messages per day. Perplexity AI: An "answer engine" that acts like a research assistant. It provides answers with citations and links to sources. The free version is powerful for deep research. Image Generation (Free Tiers & Open Source) DALL-E 3 (via Microsoft Copilot): You can use DALL-E 3 for free by using Microsoft Copilot or Bing Image Creator. You get a limited number of "boosts" per week, but its completely free. Stable Diffusion (Open Source): The gold standard for free, unlimited image generation. Free and open source. You need to run it on your own computer (requires a decent GPU) or use free web interfaces like Hugging Face Spaces or Clipdrop. Leonardo.ai: A web-based platform that uses Stable Diffusion. It has a very generous free tier that gives you 150 "tokens" per day (enough for dozens of images). Canva AI: Canvas free tier includes powerful AI tools (Magic Write, Magic Edit, etc.) with a generous daily limit. AI Writing & Productivity (Freemium) Grammarly: The free version is excellent for grammar, spelling, and tone detection across emails, docs, and social media. DeepL Write: A superior alternative to Google Translate for text. The free version allows you to translate large blocks of text and write in different tones. Notion AI (Free Trial/Quota): Notions standard workspace is free, and the AI add-on gives you a limited number of free AI responses per month to summarize docs, write drafts, or change tone. Audio & Voice AI (Free) ElevenLabs: The leading AI voice generator. The free tier gives you 10,000 characters per month (roughly 10 minutes of speech) with high-quality, realistic voices. Whisper (by OpenAI): The best automatic speech recognition (speech-to-text) tool. Free and open source. You can run it on your computer or use free web demos. Audacity (with OpenVINO): Audacity is a free audio editor. You can add free plugins (like OpenVINO) to do AI-powered noise removal and vocal isolation. Video & Animation (Free) RunwayML: A professional video editing suite with AI tools (remove background, generate video, motion tracking). The free tier gives you 125 credits (about 5-10 short generations). CapCut (by ByteDance): The free version of this mobile/desktop editor has excellent AI features: auto-captions, text-to-speech, auto-remove background, and AI video upscaling. Specialized Open Source Software (Free & Fully Private) If you want to run AI completely on your own computer (no internet required, full privacy) and have a decent computer, these are the best: Ollama: A tool to easily download and run large language models (like Llama 3, Mistral, Gemma) locally on your Mac, Windows, or Linux. LM Studio: A user-friendly GUI for Ollama. You can search for models from Hugging Face and chat with them directly. Automatic1111 / ComfyUI: The standard web UI for running Stable Diffusion locally. LocalAI: A drop-in replacement for OpenAI's API that runs locally. How to Choose? For general chat & writing: Use ChatGPT (creative) or Google Gemini (research). For creating images: Use Microsoft Copilot (DALL-E 3) for quality or Leonardo.ai for more control. For privacy & unlimited use: Download Ollama and run a model like Llama 3.1 on your own PC. For translating or writing in another language: Use DeepL. For transcribing audio: Download Whisper. Warning: Always be careful with what you upload to free cloud-based services. If privacy is a concern, use open-source software that runs locally on your computer.

Venture into the depths of Azeroth itself in this groundbreaking expansion. Face new threats emerging from the planet's core, explore mysterious underground realms, and uncover secrets that will reshape your understanding of the Warcraft universe forever.
The War Within brings so much fresh content to WoW. The new zones are absolutely stunning and the storyline is engaging. Been playing for 15 years and this expansion reignited my passion for the game.
The new raid content is fantastic with challenging mechanics. However, there are still some bugs that need to be ironed out. Overall a solid expansion that keeps me coming back for more.
