Fantasy MMORPG PvE Raids Guilds

Here is a breakdown of common software functions found in Artificial Intelligence (AI)-enabled devices (such as smartphones, smart speakers, security cameras, health wearables, and autonomous machines). These functions are grouped by the type of AI technology (Machine Learning, Computer Vision, NLP, etc.) that powers them. Perception & Sensing (Computer Vision & Audio AI) These functions allow the device to understand the physical world through sensors. Object/Face Detection & Recognition: Identifies specific people, pets, or objects (e.g., a security camera recognizing a family member vs. a stranger; a phone unlocking via Face ID). Voice Recognition & Wake Word Detection: Continuously listens for a specific phrase (e.g., "Hey Siri," "Alexa," "OK Google") to activate the device. Speech-to-Text (Automatic Speech Recognition - ASR): Converts spoken words into written text in real time (e.g., dictation, live captions). Text-to-Speech (TTS): Converts written text into natural-sounding spoken words (e.g., a smart speaker reading an email aloud). Gesture Recognition: Interprets hand or body movements as commands (e.g., waving to skip a song on a smart display). Environmental Sound Detection: Identifies specific sounds like a glass breaking, a baby crying, or a smoke alarm (e.g., Nest Aware alerts). Natural Language Processing & Understanding (NLP/NLU) These functions enable the device to understand the meaning and intent behind human language. Intent Parsing & Slot Filling: Analyzes a user's command to determine what they want and which specific parameters are involved (e.g., "Set a timer for 10 minutes" Intent: SetTimer, Slot: Duration=10). Contextual Understanding: Remembers previous interactions to avoid repeating information (e.g., "Turn off the lights" AI knows which room you are in). Sentiment Analysis: Detects the emotional tone of a user's voice or text (e.g., a customer service chatbot recognizing frustration). Language Translation: Translates spoken or written text between languages in real time (e.g., Google Translate earbuds). Decision Making & Prediction (Machine Learning) These functions use historical data to make recommendations or predictions without explicit programming. Predictive Modeling: Forecasts future events (e.g., a thermostat learning your schedule to predict when to pre-heat the house). Personalized Recommendations: Suggests content, products, or actions based on user history (e.g., Netflix showing movie suggestions; a smart fridge suggesting recipes based on ingredients inside). Anomaly Detection: Flags unusual behavior that deviates from a learned baseline (e.g., a credit card chip sensing a fraudulent purchase; a security camera detecting loitering). Energy Optimization: Learns usage patterns to automatically adjust power consumption (e.g., a smart charger slowing down charging at 80% to save battery health). Automation & Control (Reinforcement Learning & Rule Engines) These functions enable the device to take physical or logical actions. Scene/Automation Triggers: Executes a sequence of actions based on a specific event (e.g., when a door sensor opens, turn on the hallway lights and start a video recording). Adaptive Learning of Habits: The AI modifies its behavior based on repeated user actions (e.g., a robotic vacuum learning to avoid a specific area where a toy is often left). Autonomous Navigation: For drones, vacuums, and cars: SLAM (Simultaneous Localization and Mapping) combined with path planning to move without hitting obstacles. Image & Video Enhancement (Computational Photography) These functions improve the quality of data captured by the device's camera. Scene Optimization: Automatically adjusts camera settings (white balance, exposure) based on the scene (sunset, food, text document). Object Segmentation & Background Blur: Separates the subject from the background in real time (e.g., Portrait Mode on smartphones, virtual backgrounds in video calls). Super Resolution: Uses AI to upscale low-resolution images by "guessing" missing pixels to create a clearer picture. Denoising: Removes visual grain (noise) from photos/videos taken in low light. Privacy & Security (Federated Learning & On-Device AI) These functions protect user data while still offering intelligence. On-Device Processing: No data leaves the device for inference (e.g., a phone translating text offline; a security camera analyzing video locally without sending it to the cloud). Differential Privacy: Adds "noise" to aggregated user data to prevent identification of individuals. Real-time Liveness Detection: Checks if a face is real (not a photo or mask) to prevent spoofing in biometric authentication. Summary Table Software Function Category Example Use Case : : Perception Smart speaker "hears" wake word NLP/NLU Voice assistant understands "Order pizza" Prediction Thermostat predicts when you'll be home Automation Robot vacuum decides to clean a room Image Enhancement Smartphone removes camera shake Privacy Security camera identifies a person without sending video to the cloud The most advanced AI-enabled devices combine multiple of these functions simultaneously. For example, a self-driving car uses Perception (cameras/lidar), Prediction (calculating where a pedestrian will walk), and Automation (steering/braking) all in real time. To get a more specific list: If you have a particular device in mind (e.g., a smart fridge, an AI hearing aid, or a drone), please let me know and I can refine the list for that category.

Great raids, some bugs

The new raid content is fantastic with challenging mechanics. However, there are still some bugs that need to be ironed out. Overall a solid expansion that keeps me coming back for more.
