Of course! Here is a comprehensive guide to Death spells in Wizard101, covering everything from the school's philosophy to its most iconic spells across all levels. The Philosophy of Death Magic Death is the school of balance, drain, and manipulation. Unlike other schools that purely deal damage, Death wizards are sustain tanks. Their signature mechanic is drain spellsthey deal damage and heal the caster for a portion of that damage. This makes them exceptionally self-sufficient, great soloists, and valuable support in teams. Iconic & Key Death Spells (By Level) Here are the spells that define the Death school, from start to finish. Early Game (Levels 1-30) Dark Sprite (Level 1): Your first drain. A small hit with a small heal. Ghoul (Level 5): The quintessential early-game Death spell. Good damage and a solid heal. Feint (Level 26): Arguably the most important spell in the entire game. It places a trap on an enemy that increases the next hit they take by 70% (trained version) or 80% (item card version). Every wizard of every school should get this from the Death school teacher, Niles! Mid Game (Levels 30-60) Wraith (Level 38): A powerful single-target drain that carries you through the mid-game. Scarecrow (Level 48): The Death AoE (Area of Effect) spell! Hits all enemies and drains from each, making it a fantastic farming and solo tool. Deer Knight (Craftable/Pack Spell): A popular early-game AoE Death spell available through crafting, lore packs, or spellements. It's a Damage Over Time (DoT) that many Deaths get before Scarecrow. Late Game (Levels 60-100) Dr. Von's Monster (Level 68): A powerful single-target drain with a high heal. Call of Khrulhu (Level 76): A powerful 4-pip AoE that also removes a positive charm from each enemy. Skeletal Dragon (Level 86): A single-target hit that leaves a -90% weakness on the enemy, a massive debuff. End Game & Shadow Magic (Levels 100+) Bad Juju (Level 108): The ultimate support/debuff spell. Puts a -90% universal damage debuff on a target (costs all your pips). Often used by jade/healing supports to protect the team. Lulu (Lord of the Jungle) - Shadow Spell (Level 130): The Death school's Shadow-enhanced hit. A massive single-target drain that can be a fight-ender. Mystic Colossus (Level 150+): A powerful, modern single-target Death spell. Death Spell Types & Utility Death is not just about drains. They have a versatile toolkit: Drain Spells: Core identity (Ghoul, Wraith, Scarecrow). Debuffs: Feint (trap), Virulent Plague (curse that reduces all enemies' outgoing damage), Weakness (reduces next incoming attack). Minion Manipulation: Spells to summon, empower, or sacrifice minions for effects (e.g., Beguile, Sacrifice). Damage Over Time (DoTs): Like Poison and Deer Knight. Stealing Charms: Spells like Dark Pact steal positive buffs (like blades) from enemies and give them to you. How to Get Death Spells Class Trainer: Most core spells are learned from Dworgyn in the Death School in Ravenwood. Sunken City Trainer: Niles (the Balance teacher) in the Sunken City teaches Feint. Crafting: Spells like Deer Knight and Handsome Fomori are acquired through crafting. Spellements: Many spells, including Scarecrow and Lulu, can be upgraded via spellements found in bosses, packs, and events. Lore Master: In the Atheneum (Dragonspyre), she drops lore spell cards like Deer Knight and Khrulhu. Packs & Bundles: Some spell variants and unique animations come from packs. Playing a Death Wizard: Tips Solo Strength: Your drain healing makes you one of the best solo schools. You can often survive battles other schools would flee from. Blade, then Feint: Stack your damage boosts (like Deathblade, Spirit Blade, Feint) before using a big drain to maximize damage and healing. Support Role: In teams, you're not just a hitter. You can use Feint to boost the main hitter, Virulent Plague to protect the team, or Bad Juju to neuter a boss. Pet Choice: Look for pets that grant Deer Knight or Gloomy Eye (an early AoE) to speed up your leveling before Scarecrow. Famous Death Bosses & References Morganthe & the Arcanum: The main antagonist of Arc 2 is a Death wizard, and her backstory is deeply tied to the school. Malistaire Drake: The original main antagonist, though he is a Necromancer (a form of Death magic user). Dworgyn: Your friendly (if slightly gloomy) Death school professor. In summary, the Death school is about endurance, control, and clever strategy. It's a fantastic choice for players who enjoy self-reliance, tactical play, and a unique "lifesteal" aesthetic.

The War Within brings so much fresh content to WoW. The new zones are absolutely stunning and the storyline is engaging. Been playing for 15 years and this expansion reignited my passion for the game.
The new raid content is fantastic with challenging mechanics. However, there are still some bugs that need to be ironed out. Overall a solid expansion that keeps me coming back for more.
