albion online reputation
In Albion Online, reputation is a system that tracks your interactions with players from different factions (cities or alliances) and affects how you can engage with them in the open world. Heres a breakdown of how it works: Reputation Mechanics Positive Reputation (Blue/Green): - Earned by killing hostile (red/purple) players or mobs flagged as enemies of your faction. - High reputation grants bonuses like reduced taxes in allied cities. - Players with high rep are protected from attacks by their own faction members. Negative Reputation (Red/Purple): - Gained by killing non-hostile (blue/green) players or allied faction NPCs. - Negative rep makes you "Hostile" to your own faction, meaning guards and players can attack you freely. - Extremely low rep turns you into an "Outlaw", making you vulnerable even in your home city. How to Manage Reputation Increase Reputation: - Kill hostile players/mobs (e.g., faction enemies in Roads of Avalon or open-world zones). - Participate in Faction Warfare (capturing outposts, transporting faction hearts). - Wait for passive decay over time (negative rep slowly resets). Decrease Reputation: - Attack or kill non-hostile players (especially from your own faction). - Destroy faction-related objectives (e.g., faction outposts). Consequences of Negative Reputation Guards in your home city will attack you on sight. You lose access to faction benefits (e.g., reduced taxes, faction transport). Other players can kill you without reputation penalties. Clearing Negative Reputation Wait: Negative rep decays slowly over time (faster if you avoid further offenses). Kill Hostile Players/Mobs: Actively farming PvE/PvP content for your faction speeds up recovery. Reputation in Different Zones Blue/Yellow Zones: Negative rep can still make you attackable by guards/faction members. Red/Black Zones: Reputation has no effectfull-loot PvP is always allowed. Tips If youre a faction fighter, maintain high rep for bonuses. If youre a bandit or ganker, expect to be hunted in friendly territories. Use Faction Warfare to farm rep quickly. The War Within brings so much fresh content to WoW. The new zones are absolutely stunning and the storyline is engaging. Been playing for 15 years and this expansion reignited my passion for the game.
The new raid content is fantastic with challenging mechanics. However, there are still some bugs that need to be ironed out. Overall a solid expansion that keeps me coming back for more.
