Fantasy MMORPG PvE Raids Guilds

It sounds like you're asking about the AI tool named Goose. This is a specific, open-source tool, not a generic term. Heres a breakdown of what it is, what it does, and how it's different from other AI assistants. What is Goose? Goose is an open-source, on-device AI agent designed to automate complex software development tasks directly on your computer. Think of it less like a chatbot (like ChatGPT) and more like a robotic coding assistant that can take action in your terminal, code editor, and file system. It was originally developed at Block (formerly Square, Inc.) and is now maintained as a community project. Key Features & How It Works Agentic & Autonomous: Goose can break down high-level instructions (e.g., "Set up a new React project with Tailwind CSS and a basic routing structure") into a sequence of steps and execute them without your constant input. On-Device Execution: It runs locally on your machine. This means it can access your local files, run terminal commands, install packages, edit code, and interact with your development environment. Model Agnostic: You can plug in different Large Language Models (LLMs) as the "brain" for Goose. It supports OpenAI (GPT-4/4o), Anthropic (Claude), Google (Gemini), local models (like Ollama), and others. This gives you flexibility in cost, privacy, and capability. Safety & Human-in-the-Loop: Before executing potentially destructive actions (like deleting files or installing packages), Goose will ask for your confirmation. You can review its plan and approve or reject specific steps. Extensible (via "Modes"): You can give Goose special skills by defining "Modes." For example, you could create a "Web Developer Mode" that gives it specific context about your web framework, or a "DevOps Mode" that gives it access to cloud CLIs (aws, gcloud, kubectl). What Can You Use Goose For? Goose is particularly useful for complex, multi-step tasks that a traditional AI code assistant (like GitHub Copilot's chat) can't handle. Common use cases include: Project Scaffolding: Creating a new project from scratch with a specific tech stack, folder structure, and configuration files. Bug Fixing: Diagnosing an error by examining logs, stack traces, and relevant source code, then proposing and implementing a fix. Refactoring: Renaming variables across multiple files, restructuring a module, or migrating from one library to another. Database Migrations: Generating and running SQL migration scripts. DevOps Tasks: Writing Dockerfiles, setting up CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions), or managing cloud resources. Data Analysis: Writing a Python script to clean a CSV file, generate statistics, and create visualizations. How is Different from ChatGPT, Claude, or GitHub Copilot? Feature Goose (AI Agent) ChatGPT / Claude (Chatbots) GitHub Copilot (Code Completion) : : : : Primary Function Automating multi-step tasks on your computer Answering questions, generating text Suggesting code snippets while you type Interaction Task delegation ("Set up this project") Conversational Q&A Inline, real-time suggestions Action Scope Can run code, edit files, execute commands Cannot interact with your local environment Only suggests code within your editor Execution Autonomous (with user approval) Manual (you copy/paste the code) Manual (you hit Tab to accept) Setup Requires installation & configuration Web-based (no setup) Editor plugin In Summary Goose is an open-source AI agent that lives on your machine and can autonomously perform complex software development tasks by interacting with your terminal, file system, and code editor. If you're a developer looking to automate time-consuming, multi-step workflows that go beyond simple code generation, Goose is a powerful tool to explore. Its open-source nature and model-agnostic design give you a lot of control and flexibility.

Great raids, some bugs

The new raid content is fantastic with challenging mechanics. However, there are still some bugs that need to be ironed out. Overall a solid expansion that keeps me coming back for more.
