Fantasy MMORPG PvE Raids Guilds

Here is a comprehensive overview of Google Gemini, the AI tool. What is Gemini? Gemini is a family of multimodal large language models (LLMs) developed by Google DeepMind. It is Google's most advanced and capable AI model to date, designed to be a direct competitor to OpenAI's GPT-4 (the model behind ChatGPT) and Anthropic's Claude. The key feature of Gemini is that it is natively multimodal. Unlike earlier models that were trained separately on text and then on images, Gemini was trained from the ground up to understand, combine, and generate content across: Text Images Audio Video Code This allows it to perform tasks that were previously very difficult for AI, like understanding a handwritten math problem or analyzing a video clip. The Different Versions of Gemini Google released three different sizes of Gemini to fit different use cases: Model Best For Key Characteristics : : : Gemini Ultra Complex, highly-reasoning tasks The largest and most capable model. Best for state-of-the-art performance, complex reasoning, and multi-step problem solving. It's the model that scores highly on benchmarks. Gemini Pro Scaling across a wide range of tasks The best model for general performance and versatility. It powers the Gemini chatbot and is available to developers via the Gemini API. It's fast and efficient. Gemini Nano On-device tasks The most efficient model for running directly on devices like smartphones. It's designed for tasks that need to happen offline, quickly, and privately (e.g., suggesting replies in messages, summarizing recordings). How to Use Gemini You can access Gemini in several ways: The Gemini Chatbot (formerly Bard): - Website: gemini.google.com - App: Available for Android and iOS. - What it is: A direct competitor to ChatGPT. You can chat with it, ask questions, get help writing, brainstorming, and much more. - Key Feature (Unique): You can upload images, audio files, or even videos and ask questions about their content. For example, upload a chart and ask it to explain the trend, or upload a video of a soccer game and ask for a tactical analysis. Google Workspace (via Gemini for Google Workspace): - Integration: Gemini is built directly into Gmail, Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Slides, Google Meet, and more. - What it does: - Gmail: Draft emails, summarize long threads, find specific information. - Docs: Write, brainstorm, rewrite, and polish text. - Slides: Generate images and create presentations from text prompts. - Meet: Generate custom backgrounds, take notes, and summarize meetings (even for those who missed them). Google Cloud (Vertex AI): - For Developers: Businesses and developers can use Gemini models through Google's Vertex AI platform to build their own AI-powered applications. Android (via Google Assistant): - New Assistant: On many recent Android phones, Gemini is replacing Google Assistant. You can use it to get help with tasks on your phone, generate images, or get information without leaving your current app. Key Strengths & Capabilities True Multimodality: This is its biggest advantage. It can process and reason across text, images, audio, video, and code simultaneously. For example, you can show it a physics problem with a diagram and a recording of a lecture, and it can help you solve it. Complex Reasoning: The Ultra model has shown state-of-the-art performance on complex reasoning benchmarks, including math and science. Advanced Coding: Gemini can understand, explain, and generate high-quality code in various programming languages. Large Context Window: Gemini Pro 1.5 can handle up to 1 million tokens in a single prompt. This is enormous, allowing it to process entire books, hours of video, or massive codebases. Integration: It's deeply integrated into Google's ecosystem (Search, Workspace, Android, Cloud), making it incredibly convenient for users of those services. Key Limitations & Considerations Not Perfect: Like all LLMs, Gemini can "hallucinate" (make up facts), be biased, and make logical errors. Always double-check important information. Availability: The most powerful model (Gemini Ultra) is not free. The Gemini Pro model is free for the chatbot, but with limits. The full suite of Workspace features is a paid subscription. Regional Restrictions: Gemini is available in most countries, but not all features are available everywhere. The rollout has been gradual. Competition: It faces stiff competition from ChatGPT (GPT-4o/4) and Claude (Opus 3.5). Which one is "best" often depends on the specific task. Gemini vs. ChatGPT (Quick Comparison) Feature Gemini (via Gemini App) ChatGPT (by OpenAI) : : : Core Model Gemini Pro / Ultra GPT-4o / GPT-4 Turbo Multimodality Natively multimodal (text, image, audio, video, code) Strong multimodal (text, image, audio) but not as deeply integrated from the ground up. Data Source Connected to Google Search (real-time info) Can search the web (with Bing), but not always on by default. Integration Deeply integrated with Google Workspace, Android, Google Cloud Plugins for various services, but not as system-level as Google's. Free Tier Yes, with Gemini Pro. Yes, with GPT-4o Mini. Context Window Up to 1 million tokens (Gemini Pro 1.5) 128,000 tokens (GPT-4 Turbo) In summary: Gemini is Google's powerful, multimodal AI model, best for users deeply embedded in the Google ecosystem (Gmail, Docs, Android) or those who need to analyze video, audio, and text together. It's a direct and strong competitor to ChatGPT, with a unique set of strengths in multimodal understanding and context length.

Great raids, some bugs

The new raid content is fantastic with challenging mechanics. However, there are still some bugs that need to be ironed out. Overall a solid expansion that keeps me coming back for more.
