Fantasy MMORPG PvE Raids Guilds

It sounds like you're asking about markers designed specifically for use on t-shirts and fabric, often called fabric markers or textile markers. While "acrylic tee markers" isn't a standard industry name, it likely refers to markers that contain acrylic-based paint (as opposed to dye or ink). Heres everything you need to know about using acrylic-based markers on t-shirts. What "Acrylic Tee Markers" Usually Means Most "fabric markers" are either: Dye-based: These soak into the fibers (like a Sharpie). They are soft but can fade and bleed. Paint-based (Acrylic): These sit on top of the fabric fibers. They are opaque, vibrant, and can be used on dark shirts. Acrylic markers (like Posca, Molotow, or Liquitex) are the most common choice for customizing t-shirts because they act like paint pens. The Best Acrylic Markers for T-Shirts If you want opaque, permanent, and vibrant designs, these are the top choices: Posca Paint Pens (PC-5M or PC-3M): The gold standard. They are water-based acrylic. They dry matte, are very opaque, and can be heat-set. Best for most people. Molotow One4All Acrylic Markers: Professional-grade. Very opaque and available in a massive color range. The pump-action system is great for even flow. Tulip Fabric Markers (ColorShot): While technically fabric paint in a marker form, they are very similar to acrylic. They are specifically formulated to stay soft on fabric. Sharpie Creative Markers: These are acrylic-based and work well for simple designs, but they aren't as vibrant as Posca. How to Use Acrylic Markers on a T-Shirt (For Best Results) Acrylic paint on fabric can crack or feel stiff if not done correctly. Follow these steps: Prepare the Shirt Wash first: Remove any factory sizing (starch) that prevents paint from sticking. Do not use fabric softener. Use a barrier: Place a piece of cardboard or plastic inside the shirt between the front and back layers. This prevents the paint from bleeding through to the other side. Stretch the fabric: Tape the shirt taut to a flat surface. This prevents the marker from skipping on wrinkles. Apply the Marker Prime the marker: Shake the marker vigorously (with the cap on). Press the tip down on scrap paper until ink flows. Dab, don't drag: For best coverage, use a dabbing or stippling motion. Dragging the tip across fabric can cause bleeding and uneven lines. Thin coats: Apply the color in thin layers. Let each layer dry for a minute before adding another. Heat-Set (Crucial for Acrylic) This is the most important step. Acrylic paint needs heat to bond permanently with fabric. Wait: Let the paint dry completely (at least 1 hour, or overnight). Iron: Turn the shirt inside out. Place a thin cloth (like a pillowcase) over the design. Iron on a high, dry heat setting (no steam). Press firmly for 3-5 minutes, moving the iron constantly. Or use a dryer: Tumble dry the shirt on high heat for 30 minutes. Pros & Cons of Acrylic Markers on Fabric Pros Cons : : Very opaque Works on black/dark shirts. Can feel stiff Thick layers feel plastic-like. Vibrant colors No fading after washing (if heat-set). Can crack If applied too thickly or not heat-set. Permanent Won't wash out. Not stretchy The paint layer will crack if you stretch the fabric hard. Great for details Better than brushes for fine lines. Tip can get frayed Rough fabric ruins the marker tip over time. Key Tips for Long-Lasting Results Don't use standard craft acrylic It's too thick. Use markers specifically labeled "fabric," "textile," or "multi-surface." Wash inside out Turn the shirt inside out before washing. Use cold water and a gentle cycle. Hang dry The heat of a dryer (after the initial heat-set) can accelerate cracking over time. Hang drying is safer. Avoid bleach Bleach will destroy acrylic paint. If you meant "Sharpie" style markers for t-shirts: Standard Sharpie Permanent Markers are not acrylic; they are dye-based. They are not great for t-shirts. They will bleed badly, fade to purple/blue in the wash, and won't stay vibrant. Bottom line: For the best "acrylic tee marker" experience, buy Posca or Molotow markers, use a cardboard insert, and always heat-set with an iron.

Great raids, some bugs

The new raid content is fantastic with challenging mechanics. However, there are still some bugs that need to be ironed out. Overall a solid expansion that keeps me coming back for more.
