acrylic marker dry
When an acrylic marker is "dry," it usually means one of two things: The paint inside the nib has dried up, making it impossible to get color onto the paper. The paint on the paper has dried, which happens very quickly (within 15 minutes). Since you asked about the marker itself, here is how to handle a dry acrylic marker (the tool): First, check if it's actually "dry" or just "clogged" Acrylic paint dries very hard and plastic-like. Unlike water-based markers, you cannot just add water to revive a completely dried-out acrylic marker. If the internal paint is a solid chunk of plastic, it is dead and cannot be saved. If it's just clogged or sluggish (Still has liquid paint inside) Try these steps immediately: Shake it: Shake vigorously (with the cap on) for 30 seconds. You should hear a mixing ball (like a rattle) inside. If you don't hear it, the paint might be too thick. Pump the nib: Place the tip down on a scrap piece of paper and gently press down (like you are stamping). Do this 10-15 times. This forces paint from the reservoir into the nib. Prime it: If pumping doesn't work, try dripping 1-2 drops of acrylic medium (or isopropyl alcohol) onto the tip. Do not use water. Water breaks down the binder and ruins the marker. Let it sit for 5 minutes, then pump again. Reverse the nib: Many markers (like Posca, Molotow, Montana) allow you to use a pair of pliers to pull the nib out, flip it over, and push it back in. This gives you a fresh, unclogged tip. If the marker is completely dried out (Solid) Throw it away: Most cheap acrylic markers are disposable and cannot be refilled. Refill it (if applicable): Brands like Molotow, Montana, or Copic sell refill ink. You can buy a bottle of the correct color, unscrew the cap or back plug, and drip the paint into the reservoir. Solvent trick (Last resort): You can try injecting acrylic thinner (not water) into the barrel with a syringe. Let it sit for 24 hours. This only works if there is still some soft paint left. How to prevent it from drying out Store horizontally (nib-down can cause pooling; nib-up can cause drying at the tip). Keep the cap on at all times when not in use. Clean the cap threads regularly. Dried paint on the threads prevents an airtight seal. Shake before use every single time. Summary Squeaky or pale lines? Shake & pump. Completely dry and hard? Do not add water. It's likely dead unless you have refill ink. Best fix for a semi-dry marker? 1 drop of isopropyl alcohol on the tip, then pump. One critical warning: Do not try to revive a fully dried acrylic marker by soaking the nib in water. This will turn the remaining paint into a watery, chalky mess that will never work correctly again.

The War Within brings so much fresh content to WoW. The new zones are absolutely stunning and the storyline is engaging. Been playing for 15 years and this expansion reignited my passion for the game.
The new raid content is fantastic with challenging mechanics. However, there are still some bugs that need to be ironed out. Overall a solid expansion that keeps me coming back for more.
