Fantasy MMORPG PvE Raids Guilds

Based on your query, it seems you're asking about using the 8BitDo Ultimate 2C controller with games from the Epic Games Store. Heres a comprehensive guide to get it working. The Short Answer: Yes, it works perfectly. The 8BitDo Ultimate 2C is a versatile controller that can connect via 2.4GHz USB dongle or Bluetooth. Epic Games' titles on Windows will recognize it as a standard Xbox controller in most cases, providing native support, button prompts, and vibration. How to Set It Up: Connection Methods (Choose One): For Plug-and-Play (Recommended): Use the included 2.4GHz USB dongle. Plug it into your PC. The controller will be recognized instantly as an Xbox 360/One controller in Windows. This is the most reliable method for Epic Games. Via Bluetooth: Switch the controller to Bluetooth mode (usually by holding the appropriate button). Pair it with your PC's Bluetooth. For best compatibility with Epic/PC games, ensure it's in "X-Input" mode (this is often the default for the dongle, but you may need to press Start + X when powering on for Bluetooth). Epic Games Launcher & Games: No special configuration is needed in the Epic Games Launcher itself. Most modern games on Epic (like Fortnite, Rocket League, Cyberpunk 2077, etc.) use the standard Xbox controller API. Since your 8BitDo mimics an Xbox pad, it will just work. Launch your game, go to its Settings > Controller menu, and ensure the controller option is enabled. For Games with Poor/No Native Controller Support: Some older or indie titles on Epic might not have built-in controller support. In this case: Use 8BitDo's Own Software: Download the "Ultimate Software" from the 8BitDo website. You can remap buttons and create profiles if needed. Steam Big Picture Mode (A Powerful Workaround): 1. Add your Epic Games Store game to Steam as a "Non-Steam Game." 2. Launch Steam in Big Picture Mode. 3. Configure your controller settings in Steam (which has excellent, universal support for many controllers). 4. Launch the game from Big Picture Mode. Steam will handle the controller input and translate it for the game. Important Note for Switch Gamers: If you also use the controller with a Nintendo Switch, remember: The 2.4GHz dongle does NOT work with the Switch. You must use Bluetooth mode for the Switch. When switching back to PC, you may need to re-pair or reconnect via the dongle. The button on the back makes switching between paired devices easy. Troubleshooting Tips: Game Doesn't Respond: First, test the controller in Windows. Go to Start > type "Set up USB game controllers" and see if it's detected and buttons register. Wrong Button Prompts: If a game shows PlayStation buttons instead of Xbox, look for a "Controller Type" or "Button Icons" setting in the game's menu to switch to "Xbox." Dongle Not Working: Try a different USB port, preferably directly on your PC rather than a hub. Update Firmware: Use the 8BitDo Ultimate Software to check for firmware updates for both the controller and dongle, which can improve compatibility. Summary: For Epic Games on PC, the 8BitDo Ultimate 2C is an excellent choice. Using the 2.4GHz dongle provides the simplest, most reliable experience, making it function just like a first-party Xbox controller. For the few games that might have issues, Steam's configuration tool is a fantastic backup solution. Enjoy your gaming!

Great raids, some bugs

The new raid content is fantastic with challenging mechanics. However, there are still some bugs that need to be ironed out. Overall a solid expansion that keeps me coming back for more.
