Fantasy MMORPG PvE Raids Guilds

Of course! A "7 Wonders" strategy guide needs to address the game's core: you must choose a path to victory early and adapt it based on your neighbors and the cards you see. There is no single best strategy, but mastering a few will make you a consistent winner. Here is a comprehensive guide, from core concepts to advanced tactics. Core Philosophy: Efficiency & Adaptation You cannot do everything. A jack-of-all-trades will lose to focused players. Watch your neighbors (left & right). What they build dictates what resources you can buy, what military pressure you face, and what Guilds will be valuable. Card Counting is Key: Remember which age cards have passed. If you see all the blue (Civilian) cards disappear, don't plan on a late blue strategy. The 5 Primary Victory Paths (Engines) Think of these as your macro-strategy. You often mix 2, but one should be dominant. Scientific (Green) - The High-Risk, High-Reward Goal: Collect sets of 3 different symbols () for 7 VP each, and multiply total symbols. How: Prioritize green cards above all else. Use your Wonder stages to copy a Science symbol from a neighbor. Pros: Can generate explosive, game-winning points (70+). Cons: Very obvious. Neighbors will hate-draft (take green cards to deny you). Vulnerable if cards don't come. Key Support: Resource flexibility (to buy denied greens) and Card drawing wonders (like Babylon B-side). Military (Red) - The Aggressive Neighbor Goal: Win military conflicts (1, 3, or 5 VP each) every age and drain your neighbors' coins. How: Build red cards steadily. You only need to beat the player on each side. A lead of 1 shield is as good as 10. Pros: Provides consistent, passive VP and weakens neighbors' economies. Simple to execute. Cons: Has a natural ceiling (20 VP from military). You must supplement with another source. Key Support: Resource production (to afford arms) or Commercial (Yellow) cards for income to buy resources. Civilian (Blue) - The Steady Foundation Goal: Build high-VP blue cards for direct, unassailable points. How: Pick blue cards whenever a good one appears. They are simple and reliable. Pros: Points are secure (can't be stolen). Efficient use of a turn. Cons: Can be less "engine-y." You are relying on the raw VP of the cards, so you need many. Key Support: Resource production to afford them, and Guilds (Purple) for a late-game point boost. Commercial (Yellow) - The Economic Engine Goal: Generate massive wealth, which translates into flexibility and points. How: Build yellow cards for coin income, resource trading discounts, and special abilities (like copying resources). Pros: Flexibility is power. You can buy any resource you need, hate-draft key cards, and afford expensive Guilds. Many yellow cards also give VP. Cons: Coins are worth only 1 VP per 3 at game end, so you must convert wealth into points via Guilds, Wonders, or other cards. Key Support: Leads perfectly into Guilds or enables any other strategy. Wonder (Brown/Grey + Stages) - The Monument Builder Goal: Focus on building your Wonder stages, which give powerful effects and substantial VP. How: Prioritize the resources needed for your Wonder stages. Use cards for resource chains (e.g., a Clay Pit to build a Brickyard). Pros: Wonder VP is guaranteed and often high. The effects (extra turns, copying, etc.) are powerful. Cons: Can be resource-intensive. If neighbors don't produce what you need, it can be slow. Key Support: Commercial discounts to buy missing resources, or Resource diversity from your own cards. Advanced Tactics & Synergies The Guild Gambit (Purple): Guilds are how you win close games. They score based on what your neighbors have built. If you have wealthy neighbors with lots of blue, green, or yellow cards, late-game Guilds can be worth 10-20 VP by themselves. Save your coins for Age III to grab these! Hate-Drafting: Taking a card you don't need primarily to deny it to a neighbor. Crucial against Scientists and to control Guild targets. Chain Building: Look for cards that allow you to build another card for free (symbol in the top-left). This is the most efficient way to build, saving you resources and turns. Example: Build a Lumber Yard (Wood) in Age I, then use it to build a Wood Workshop (Green) for free in Age II. Resource Denial & Pressure: If your neighbor needs Stone, avoid producing it yourself. Force them to spend coins to buy it from their other side, draining their economy. Coin Management: Coins are a resource. Spending 2 coins to buy a resource is often better than wasting a turn building a raw material card. But remember, every 3 coins is 1 VP at the end. Wonder-Specific Tips Giza (Pyramids): High VP wonder. Go for Wonder strategy or use its stages to complement anything. Babylon (B-side): The Science king. Its "play a 7th card" power is incredibly versatile for hate-drafting or completing sets. Rhodos (Rhodes): Great for Military strategy; its shields and VP complement red cards perfectly. Ephesos (Ephesus): The money machine. Excellent for Commercial/Guild strategies. Olympia (B-side): The flexibility wonder. Lets you build discarded cards, great for filling gaps. Alexandria (B-side): Resource autonomy. You rarely need to buy resources, freeing coins for Guilds. Halikarnassos (B-side): The wild card. Building from the discard pile can enable surprising combos and hate-drafts. Common Beginner Mistakes to Avoid Ignoring Military Completely: Even 1 defeat per age costs you -6 VP total (compared to winning). A few early shields can neutralize this. Hoarding Coins: Coins are a means to an end. Use them to secure key cards or resources. Unspent coins are inefficient. Forcing a Strategy: If you plan for Science but see no green cards in Age I, pivot. Be fluid. Underestimating Guilds: That 6-cost Guild might be worth 12 points. Do the math on your neighbors' boards. Playing Solo: Your decisions directly help and hurt your neighbors. Always consider what you pass them. Quick-Start Game Plan Age I: Focus on getting resource diversity (1-2 of your own) or a key commercial card (like a Trading Post). Establish a rough direction. Age II: Commit to your engine. Build your key green/red/blue/yellow cards. Start planning your Wonder stages. Age III: Maximize points and execute your endgame. Build high-VP blue cards, your final Wonder stages, and snatch the Guilds that score big based on the table. Final Word: 7 Wonders is a game of efficient adaptation. Start with a plan, read the table, disrupt opponents when cheap, and always calculate the points. Good luck, and may your civilization prosper

Great raids, some bugs

The new raid content is fantastic with challenging mechanics. However, there are still some bugs that need to be ironed out. Overall a solid expansion that keeps me coming back for more.
