5 raiders of the lost ark
Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981) is the first film in the Indiana Jones franchise, directed by Steven Spielberg and produced by George Lucas. Here are five key raiders (or seekers) of the Ark of the Covenant in the story: Indiana Jones (Dr. Henry Jones Jr.) - The protagonist, an archaeologist hired by the U.S. government to find the Ark before the Nazis. - Motivation: Prevent the Ark from falling into Nazi hands (and initially, academic glory). René Belloq - Indys rival archaeologist, working with the Nazis. - Motivation: Wants the Arks power for himself, believing he can control it. Major Arnold Toht - A sadistic Nazi agent (played by Ronald Lacey) who tortures Marion and seeks the Ark. - Motivation: Retrieving the Ark for Hitlers occult ambitions. Colonel Dietrich - The Nazi officer in charge of the Ark expedition. - Motivation: Military orders to secure the Ark as a weapon. The U.S. Government (via Agents Musgrove & Eaton) - They hire Indy to find the Ark, claiming its for "top men" to study (though their motives are vague). - Motivation: National security (but they underestimate the Arks power). Bonus: Marion Ravenwood - Though not a primary "raider," she becomes entangled in the hunt due to her connection to Indy and the medallion. The films climax reveals that the Arks power cannot be controlled by any of themits divine nature destroys those who misuse it (except Indy and Marion, who wisely close their eyes). The War Within brings so much fresh content to WoW. The new zones are absolutely stunning and the storyline is engaging. Been playing for 15 years and this expansion reignited my passion for the game.
The new raid content is fantastic with challenging mechanics. However, there are still some bugs that need to be ironed out. Overall a solid expansion that keeps me coming back for more.
