Fantasy MMORPG PvE Raids Guilds

Here are the three main types of artificial intelligence (AI) software, categorized by their capabilities and functionality: Reactive Machines This is the most basic type of AI software. It cannot form memories or use past experiences to inform current decisions. It only reacts to the present input. How it works: It analyzes the current situation and chooses the best possible action based on pre-programmed rules or patterns. Key Limitation: No memory or learning capability. It cannot improve over time. Examples: - IBMs Deep Blue (the chess computer that beat Garry Kasparov). It evaluated the board in real-time but forgot the previous move immediately. - Spam Filters: They look at the content of an email right now to decide if it's spam, without "remembering" the sender from last week. - Recommendation Engines (simple): "Customers who bought this also bought that" (based on current cart, not past browsing history). Limited Memory This is the most common type of AI software in use today. It can look at past data for a short period of time to inform decisions. It has a "window" of memory. How it works: It is trained on historical data (e.g., thousands of photos, past driving scenarios). When it sees new data, it compares it to what it "learned" from the past. Key Feature: Uses training data and a short-term memory (e.g., the last 10 seconds) to make predictions. Examples: - Self-driving Cars: They observe the speed and direction of other cars over the last few seconds to predict if a car will change lanes. - Chatbots (e.g., ChatGPT): They remember the last few sentences in the conversation to keep context. - Virtual Assistants (Siri, Alexa): They remember your previous request to understand "What's the weather?" after you asked "Set an alarm for 7 AM." Note: This is where almost all modern, commercial AI software currently lives. Theory of Mind This type of AI software does not exist yet in a practical, commercial form. It refers to AI that can understand human emotions, beliefs, thoughts, and intentions. How it would work: It would not just process data; it would understand that you have a mind with feelings and motivations different from its own. Key Feature: Social intelligence. It could adapt its behavior based on what it thinks you are feeling or planning. Potential Examples (Future): - A robot that sees you are sad and decides to tell a joke instead of giving a direct answer. - A caretaker AI that notices you are confused about a medical instruction and rephrases it in simpler terms. - An AI negotiator that detects you are bluffing in a business deal. The "Fourth" Type (for context): Often, a fourth level is mentioned: Self-Aware AI. This is a hypothetical type where the machine has its own consciousness, desires, and sense of self ("I think, therefore I am"). This is purely theoretical and not considered plausible in the near future. Great raids, some bugs

The new raid content is fantastic with challenging mechanics. However, there are still some bugs that need to be ironed out. Overall a solid expansion that keeps me coming back for more.
