2 player free games pc
Here are some of the best free two-player games for PC, categorized by how you want to play (online, local co-op, or split-screen). Best Online Multiplayer (Each Player needs their own PC) These are great if you and a friend are in different locations. Brawlhalla (Platform Fighter) - Genre: Fighting / Platformer (like Super Smash Bros.) - Why play: Extremely polished, cross-platform (PC, Xbox, PS, Switch, Mobile), and has a huge roster of characters. The only purchases are cosmetic. Teamfight Tactics (TFT) (Auto-Battler) - Genre: Strategy / Auto Chess - Why play: You can queue up together and play against 6 other players. Its strategic, chill, and free on the Riot Games client. Rocket League (Vehicular Soccer) - Genre: Sports / Cars - Why play: You can team up in 2v2 matches. Its one of the best skill-based games ever made. Now Free-to-Play. Dota 2 / League of Legends (MOBA) - Genre: Strategy / Action - Why play: The most popular team games in the world. If you want a deep, competitive 2-player experience (in a 5v5 setting), these are the gold standard. 100% free (you only pay for cosmetics). Fortnite (Battle Royale / Zero Build) - Genre: Shooter / Survival - Why play: You can duo together. The "Zero Build" mode removes the complex building, making it a pure shooting and strategy game. Best Local Co-op / Split-Screen (One PC, Two Controllers) Perfect for playing on the couch with a friend. It Takes Two (Requires ONE person to own it) - Genre: Action-Adventure / Puzzle - Why play: The absolute best 2-player game ever made. Important: Only one person needs to buy the game. The other person can play for free using the Friend's Pass on EA App or Steam. Its a masterpiece of co-op design. Portal 2 (Requires ONE person to own it) - Genre: Puzzle / First-Person - Why play: The co-op campaign is legendary. It requires two minds to solve complex spatial puzzles. Note: The base game is often on sale for 2, but the free version is the "Community Test Chambers." Buy it cheap, play forever. Cuphead (Requires purchase) - Genre: Run & Gun / Boss Rush - Why play: Gorgeous 1930s art style. Extremely difficult but rewarding. One player can play for free if the host owns the game? No. This is a paid game, but it is the gold standard for local co-op challenge. Streets of Rage 4 (Requires purchase) - Genre: Beat 'em up - Why play: Modern classic. Simple controls, amazing music, and you can button-mash your way through hordes of enemies. Best Free Local Co-op (No purchase needed at all) Pummel Party (Demo version) - Genre: Party Game (like Mario Party) - Why play: The full game costs money, but the free demo lets you play a few maps locally with friends. It's chaotic fun with mini-games. Brawlhalla (Local Mode) - Genre: Fighting - Why play: You can play 2v2 or 1v1 on the same PC with two controllers. Completely free. Rocket League (Split-Screen) - Genre: Sports - Why play: You can play 2v2 split-screen online or against bots. Completely free. Duck Game (Free Weekend/Event) - Genre: 2D Shooting / Party - Why play: It often goes free for a weekend. It's a fast-paced, one-hit-kill arena game. Hilarious with friends. Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime (Requires purchase) - Genre: Action / Co-op - Why play: You and a friend control a spaceship. One person flies, the other shoots. Requires communication. (Not free, but the demo is). Quick Summary Recommendation Best for Online Duo (Skill-based): Rocket League or Brawlhalla. Best for Online Duo (Chill): Teamfight Tactics. Best for Couch Co-op (Free): It Takes Two (using the Friend's Pass) or Brawlhalla. Best for Couch Co-op (Paid, but worth it): Cuphead or Portal 2. Pro Tip: For local co-op, make sure you have two controllers (Xbox or PlayStation) connected to your PC. Most of these games do not support keyboard + controller for two players.

Venture into the depths of Azeroth itself in this groundbreaking expansion. Face new threats emerging from the planet's core, explore mysterious underground realms, and uncover secrets that will reshape your understanding of the Warcraft universe forever.
The War Within brings so much fresh content to WoW. The new zones are absolutely stunning and the storyline is engaging. Been playing for 15 years and this expansion reignited my passion for the game.
The new raid content is fantastic with challenging mechanics. However, there are still some bugs that need to be ironed out. Overall a solid expansion that keeps me coming back for more.
