It sounds like you're looking for 1mm acrylic paint markerswhich are ultra-fine-tipped markers used for detailed work, drawing, and writing on various surfaces. Here is a breakdown of what they are, what to look for, and the best brands. What is a 1mm Acrylic Marker? Tip Type: Typically a bullet tip or a very fine fiber tip. This is different from the larger chisel tips found on standard markers. Ink: Water-based acrylic paint. This is opaque, dries waterproof, and is permanent on most surfaces (paper, wood, glass, plastic, metal, stone). Activation: Most 1mm acrylic markers are water-based and non-toxic, making them safer than solvent-based paint markers. What to Look For True 1mm Tip: Ensure the marker explicitly states a 1mm tip size or "ultra fine." Some brands list "0.7mm" or "1.5mm," which are close but not exactly 1mm. Paint Consistency: The paint should be smooth and not clog. Cheaper markers often have paint that is too thick for such a fine tip. Pigmentation: Look for markers with high pigment load (like opaque white, black, or vibrant colors) for good coverage. Best Brands for 1mm Acrylic Markers POSCA (PC-1M or PC-1MC) - The gold standard. - Tip: 0.9mm-1.0mm (often listed as PC-1M). Extremely fine and precise. - Pros: Excellent paint quality, refillable, very durable tip, huge color range. - Cons: More expensive. The tip can dry out if not capped properly. - Best for: Illustrators, detailed lettering, model making, rock painting. Uni-Posca (PC-1M) - Same as above but often sold in multi-packs. Very reliable. Molotow (One4All Acrylic Markers) - Tip: 1mm round bullet tip. - Pros: High-quality, opaque paint, works on almost any surface (including glass and plastic), refillable. - Cons: Slightly more expensive than POSCA. - Best for: Graffiti-style art, customizing electronics, hard surfaces. Sharpie (Oil-Based Paint Marker, Fine Point) - Tip: 1.0mm fine point. - Pros: Very affordable, widely available, quick-drying. - Cons: Oil-based, not acrylic. Smells stronger, can be less opaque, and is harder to clean up (requires mineral spirits). - Best for: Quick projects, labeling, non-porous surfaces. Ohuhu (Acrylic Paint Markers, Fine Tip) - Tip: 1mm bullet tip. - Pros: Budget-friendly, good color selection, decent paint quality for the price. - Cons: Not as durable as POSCA or Molotow, tip can fray over time. - Best for: Beginners, craft projects, kids' art. Where to Buy Art Supply Stores: Blick Art Materials, Jerry's Artarama (best for POSCA, Molotow). Online: Amazon, eBay (best for Ohuhu, Sharpie). Craft Stores: Michaels, Hobby Lobby (carry POSCA, Sharpie). Tips for Using 1mm Acrylic Markers Prime the Marker: Shake well (with cap on), then press the tip down on a scrap piece of paper until paint flows. Do not pump the tip. Store Horizontally: This keeps the paint from settling and the tip from drying out. Clean the Tip: If paint dries on the tip, wipe it with a damp cloth or dip it in water for a few seconds. Do not soak. Use on Porous Surfaces: They work best on paper, wood, and primed surfaces. On glass or plastic, the paint may scratch off. Summary Recommendation For professional detailed work: POSCA PC-1M (the best). For a budget-friendly option: Ohuhu. For hard surfaces like glass/metal: Molotow One4All. Can't find exactly 1mm? Look for POSCA PC-1M (often 0.9mm) or Molotow One4All 1mm.

Great raids, some bugs

The new raid content is fantastic with challenging mechanics. However, there are still some bugs that need to be ironed out. Overall a solid expansion that keeps me coming back for more.
