Finding an R-rated (18+) Korean drama on Netflix can be tricky. Netflixs rating system (TV-MA) often doesn't distinguish between a "hard R" and a "soft R" the way film ratings do. Korean broadcasting standards are also strict, so most K-dramas are geared toward a 15+ audience. However, if by "18 rated" you mean "explicit" (strong sexual content, graphic violence, or heavy adult themes), here are the top Korean dramas on Netflix that push those boundaries the most: Top Recommendation (Most Explicit) The Glory (2022-2023) Rating: TV-MA Why it's "18+": This is the most mature K-drama on Netflix. It features graphic depictions of extreme bullying, self-harm, and non-consensual nudity (flashbacks) . The sexual content is not explicit in a romantic way, but involves coercion and manipulation. The psychological horror is very intense. This is the closest you'll get to a hard R. Strong Sexual Themes / Noir Love to Hate You (2023) Rating: TV-MA Why it's "18+": This is a rare rom-com that actually has explicit sexual situations and strong language. It's not softcore porn, but it's very frank about adult relationships and physical intimacy, with a scene involving bondage and clear conversations about sex. A Model Family (2022) Rating: TV-MA Why it's "18+": A crime thriller. It earns its rating with heavy gore, graphic violence, and a disturbing subplot involving sexual assault. Very much a "noir" style drama for adults. The K2 (2016) Rating: TV-MA Why it's "18+": Famous for its extremely high violence and an ultra-intense sexual tension between the lead actor and the villainous female lead. The action is brutal (broken bones, shootouts) and the atmosphere is very dark. Graphic Violence / Dark Themes My Name (2021) Rating: TV-MA Why it's "18+": A gritty revenge action-thriller. Features brutal, John Wick-style hand-to-hand combat, stabbings, and shootings. There is one very graphic and uncomfortable sexual assault scene. It is non-stop hard violence. The King of Pigs (2022) Rating: TV-MA Why it's "18+": Based on an adult animated film. This is a psychological horror drama about the long-term effects of extreme school bullying. It has very realistic, uncomfortable physical and psychological violence. Not for the faint of heart. D.P. (2021-2023) Rating: TV-MA Why it's "18+": About military police hunting deserters. The rating comes from discussions of suicide, traumatic bullying, strong language, and some graphic depictions of self-harm and violence within the Korean military system. Glitch (2022) Rating: TV-MA Why it's "18+": A sci-fi mystery thriller. It's rated TV-MA for strong language, disturbing cult imagery, and some graphic scenes of violence and body horror related to alien abduction/possession. "Uncut" Original Dramas (From Studios like STUDIO N) Hellbound (2021) Rating: TV-MA Why it's "18+": Extremely graphic, gory, and disturbing depictions of supernatural executions. The violence is body-horror level, with bones breaking and faces being smashed. Also features strong religious and philosophical horror. The Silent Sea (2021) Rating: TV-MA Why it's "18+": Sci-fi horror on the moon. The rating is for intense body horror, graphic death scenes (drowning in fluid), and a very tense, violent atmosphere. Squid Game (2021) Rating: TV-MA Why it's "18+": The global hit. Features graphic shooting deaths, organ harvesting, and extreme psychological violence. While stylized, the deaths are explicit. Important Note: The "Unrated" Situation Some Korean dramas on Netflix are "Unrated" or have a "Not Rated" warning. These are almost always the most extreme examples: Money Heist: Korea (2022): TV-MA for gun violence, strong language, and a very explicit sex scene in Episode 3. Bastard (Bdamsa) (if available in your region): Extremely dark, violent, with strong sexual assault themes. Summary Table for Quick Search Drama Title Why 18+? : : The Glory Bullying, self-harm, nudity, revenge My Name Gunfights, stabbings, assault Love to Hate You Explicit sex, strong language The K2 Brutal fights, tense sexual dynamics D.P. Suicide, military violence, PTSD Hellbound Body horror, gore Squid Game Shooting, organ harvesting Final Note: If you're looking for "18+" in the sense of softcore pornography, K-dramas will not satisfy you. The most explicit you will get is Love to Hate You or the intimate scenes in The K2 and The Glory. Korean cinema (movies) are much, much more explicit than Korean TV dramas.

Great raids, some bugs

The new raid content is fantastic with challenging mechanics. However, there are still some bugs that need to be ironed out. Overall a solid expansion that keeps me coming back for more.
