Fantasy MMORPG PvE Raids Guilds

Both 001 Game Creator and RPG Maker are popular tools for creating games, especially for beginners and hobbyists. However, they cater to slightly different audiences and have distinct strengths and weaknesses. Heres a detailed comparison: Target Audience & Ease of Use RPG Maker - Designed specifically for turn-based RPGs (like classic Final Fantasy or Pokémon). - Very beginner-friendly with a drag-and-drop interface. - Requires little to no coding (but supports scripting in Ruby via RPG Maker Script). - Best for story-driven, 2D JRPGs. 001 Game Creator - More versatilesupports multiple genres (RPGs, platformers, shooters, etc.). - Uses a visual scripting system (similar to Unreal Blueprints) for logic. - Steeper learning curve than RPG Maker but more flexible. - Better for custom game mechanics beyond traditional RPGs. Graphics & Art Style RPG Maker - Comes with premade assets (tilesets, sprites, music) in a retro 16-bit style. - Limited resolution (default is 640480). - Custom assets can be imported, but pixel art is the norm. 001 Game Creator - Supports higher resolutions and more modern art styles. - Fewer built-in assets, so you may need to create or import your own. - Better for non-RPG games (e.g., platformers, action games). Game Mechanics & Customization RPG Maker - Best for turn-based combat with built-in battle systems. - Limited flexibility for non-RPG mechanics (e.g., real-time combat). - Plugins (JavaScript-based) extend functionality but require some coding. 001 Game Creator - More customizable with visual scripting. - Can create real-time combat, physics-based games, etc. - Supports multiplayer (unlike most RPG Maker versions). - Better for hybrid genres (e.g., action-RPGs, puzzle games). Export & Platforms RPG Maker - Exports to Windows, Mac, Linux, Android, iOS (with plugins). - MV & MZ support HTML5 (web games). - Console exports require third-party tools. 001 Game Creator - Exports to Windows, Mac, Linux, HTML5. - No native mobile/console support (requires workarounds). - Less optimized for performance compared to RPG Maker. Price & Community RPG Maker - 2080 (frequent sales on Steam). - Huge community, tons of tutorials, plugins, and asset packs. - Best for beginners who want a quick start. 001 Game Creator - 2060 (Lite vs. Pro versions). - Smaller community, fewer tutorials. - Better for intermediate users who want more control. Which One Should You Choose? Pick RPG Maker if: You want to make a classic JRPG with minimal coding. You like pixel art and prebuilt assets. You need a strong community for support. Pick 001 Game Creator if: You want to make a non-RPG game (action, platformer, etc.). You need visual scripting for custom mechanics. You dont mind importing your own assets. Final Verdict RPG Maker is the best for traditional RPGs with an easy learning curve. 001 Game Creator is more flexible but requires more effort to master. If you're unsure, try RPG Maker MV/MZ first, then move to 001 Game Creator if you need more freedom.

Great raids, some bugs

The new raid content is fantastic with challenging mechanics. However, there are still some bugs that need to be ironed out. Overall a solid expansion that keeps me coming back for more.
